Odyssey has had the privilege to partner with iwilGO organization to foster growth in the Dagomba village of Kpaachiyili located in Northern Ghana, Africa for over 10 years now. And while the work we did helping to provide sustainable foundational systems of clean water, sanitation, and hygiene was the most necessary building block, the ability to now focus on classroom needs and deeper education at the Kpaachiyili Primary School is exactly where we want to be!

In the past two years, the Odyssey community has provided books to start a school library, classroom supplies, professional development trainings, and soccer goals for organized play. It’s an important goal for our team to model teaching to the whole child, just like we do at home. The iwilGO members, the local Ghanian team and Odyssey work hard to ensure the work accomplished is meaningful, sustainable, and builds toward a brighter future for the children of Kpaachiyili. We go forward into 2020 proud of the community we serve and dedicated to the difference we hope to make. As anyone a part of this project will attest, the work done on the other side of the world benefits us far greater than our benefactors.
