ODYSSEY PREPARATORY ACADEMY CONTINUES TO BRING PARTNERSHIP AND HOPE TO KPAACHIYILI VILLAGE

Odyssey Preparatory Academy (TOPA) enhanced teacher skills in the classroom and provided a water system to Kpaachiyili Primary School in Northern Ghana.

Odyssey Director Megan Olson and her team; Stephanie, Stacy, Tag and Miguel rocked Northern Ghana! They hosted one week of teacher development seminars designed to improve Kpaachiyili Primary school’s curriculum, providing a deeper and more critically thinking based education. And, side by side with the village, built a rain catchment system – both providing the students at Kpaachiyil Primary more equipped teachers…and year ’round access to water!
After their work the team discovered – and almost touched – elephants at Mole National Park and were deeply moved by the dark history of slave trade castles on the coast of Ghana.
